In the beginning, the web was thought as a way to visualize static hypertext documents (created between HTML language); this approach can be defined as Web 1.0. After that, using database integration and with the help of Content Management Systems (CMS) the web evolved with dynamic websites as for example forums and blogs. (this step has been sometimes defined web 1.5) Through Javascript, Ajax and CSS languages employed for graphical aspects, is possible the creation of real web application, more similar to traditional computer application more than simple hypertext.
Web 2.0 is thus referred to the group of those web applications creating an ecosystem that allows a great user interaction level like blogs, forums, chat, Wikipedia, Youtube, Facebook, Myspace, Gmail.
Web 2.0 is a new philosophical approach to the network, which is based on sharing and authoring, in place of simple reading of contents. Examples of this new channels are news feed, or lists of contents with a title (es. newspapers snippets, newsgroup threads), allowing a future linking to the informative contents. Feeds can be read often times with specialized programs or with browsers and can inform the user about new content without the need of visiting every time the website.
Bee-side, in relation with web2.0, can offer a range of solutions, from ad-hoc application to complex e-commerce websites and on line communities management.
